Multi award winning luthier, Perry Ormsby, has been manufacturing his custom hand-made instruments in Perth for near on five years. Located in Beaconsfield, just south of sunny Fremantle. All instruments are custom made from a variety of exotic and Australian timbers, his own hand wound pickups, and top shelf hardware.

Whilst being proudly Australian made, Perry’s guitars are sought after worldwide, with clients in Europe, Asia, USA, and Canada. Most guitars are built under commission, with a waiting list of up to two years depending on the complexity and design of the instrument.

As well as building world class custom guitars, Perry is also a staff writer for Australian Guitar Magazine, publishing the ‘Build Your Own Axe’ series of articles, and the ‘Ask Ormsby’ column each issue.
